We stayed 3 nights in the Aqua Palace Venice. Fabulous hotel in a quite central location close to the both the Rialto Bridge in one direction & Basilica in the other. Lots of food & shopping just around the corner in either direction too. We stayed in a junior suite & it was very spacious with beautiful decor. Super comfortable beds & great shower. The hotel has nice sitting areas & staff were friendly & helpful. We took a water taxi to the hotel from the train station- this took about 20min & was very scenic travelling through the Grande canal & then smaller canals to the hotel door. Water axis are €80 - there is also a ferry that would take you to Rialto station then short walk to the hotel - there are a number of bridges & steps. The breakfast was amazing with a great selection of hot, pasties, breads, cereals & fresh fruits. Highly recommend purchasing the breakfast as part of your accommodation package. There are limited cafe/restaurants in Italy that offer a full breakfast - most are just coffee & pastry. Would definitely come back to the Aqua Place when we visit Venice again

Absolutely everything. This is a 5 star hotel hiding as a 4 star! The staff, from the moment you enter the doors, cannot do enough to help you. The property is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with every detail mastered. Our room (thank gosh they had one last minute when our original hotel turned out to be horrible) was fairly small but with super high ceilings so it felt large. There was plenty of places to store our clothes, luggage racks, plush bathrobes and slippers, top quality bath towels and bath amenities. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were top quality. The room was cleaned to the tiniest detail. The bathroom had space to put your bathroom items. The room was very quiet, calm and relaxing. And finally, the water taxi has a private dock to pick you up and take you wherever you want to go. We took it to the train station and the cost was very reasonable. Thank you SO MUCH to the Aqua Palace Hotel. Top notch.

We went for 4 days in January with family and a little kid. Our rooms were gorgeous! Spacious bathrooms, nice decorations, nice communal areas to hang out. We absolutely loved the stay! We spent considerable time to look for the one kids friendly place in the centre of Venice. Walking distance to st Marcus Square and Rialto Bridge. Water taxi was a nice experience, read below about prices. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. We opted for it because we had a little kid and it was convenient but there were wonderful coffee places close by. Kids eat breakfast for free, for adults is 15eur/ day. Staff was friendly and social.

We stayed in a small-ish room at the top of the hotel - there was no view but the bed was really comfy, facilities in the room really good, temperature control really good. The breakfast was really good, fresh fruit and pastries and hot offering. The breakfast room and staff were really great. Location is fantastic - really close to St Marks but in a quiet part of the city - fantastic restaurant just 1 min walk away.

Wonderful communication - very quick responses when helping us book our taxi boat from the airport. The hotel is in a great location and wonderfully decorated (some of Venice hotels can appear a little outdated but Aqua Palace was simply and tastefully done) we also had access to a small private terrace which was a lovely and unexpected bonus!
